WHEN YOU ARRIVE
Gift or Magdaline, our studio caretakers, will be around on the day to open up and let you in.
SET-UP + CLEAN UP
Please note the Barn works with a 'leave it as you found it' system. Setting up and breaking down what is needed for your shoot or event must be done within the amount of time you have booked. Please book more than your “shoot or event time” to make sure you are in and out on-time. We have multiple bookings on one days so please don't arrive earlier than booked. If your event is running late, additional time can be added to your slot booked if we don't have a booking after you.
Overtime is charged at R800 / hour or part thereof.
Breakages and cleaning fee is for your account.
If the studio is not left as found the following will apply:
Furniture organization + Cleaning fee: R500
STUDIO VIEWING APPOINTMENTS
The Barn is open Monday - Saturday, 8am – 4pm for viewings if not in use.
Please schedule a viewing time prior to arriving so as not to disrupt any other event or shoot.
BOOKINGS, CANCELATIONS + REFUNDS
Full payment is required to secure a booking.
If you cancel 14 days before the booking, 50% will be refunded. 7 - 14 days, 15% of your booking will be refunded. Under 7 days before booking there is no refund on payment.
We are happy to offer you a transfer of your appointment to another time, Rescheduling must be done at least 2 weeks prior to your booking.

STUDIO RULES
The Barn is based in a residential area and therefore consideration to our neighbours is appreciated. Please note you are responsible for letting people in and out if you plan to have clients or workshop attendees coming to the studio during your booking.
Our recommended occupancy limit for the space is about 20 - 30 people seated
